OUTPATIENT PSYCHIATRIC SOCIAL WORKER - Carruthers Clinic - Adult

The Division of Community Psychiatry is seeking an experienced, licensed, psychiatric social worker for the Walter P. Carter Clinics.

We are currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join Adult Team at the Carruthers Clinic located on the Midtown campus of the University of Maryland Medical Center.

The Carruthers Clinic is a part of a large academic Department of Psychiatry. We are committed to excellence in service, teaching and research. The clinic provides comprehensive mental health services to adults and children. These services include Diagnostic assessments and evaluations, Individual and group therapy, and medication management; delivered in person or through telehealth services.

The adult team provides psychiatric treatment, substance abuse and case management services to adults with a variety of psychiatric diagnoses. Caseload size is approximately 65-70.

Licensure as a LCSW-C in the state of Maryland is required. A minimum of 2-4 years experience in the delivery of mental health and dual diagnosis services to the specified population is required.
