University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner or a Certified Physician Assistant to join our orthopedic and sports medicine practice in the East Metro or Burnsville.
This candidate will be expected to function at a very high level of independence assessing and evaluating musculoskeletal patients and consults.
Qualifications:
A graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or formal Nurse Practitioner training program.
Eligible or is certified through NCCPA, ANCC or AANP.
Licensed or eligible to obtain a license through the MN Board of Medical Practice (PAs) or MN APRN license with prescriptive authority through the MN Board of Nursing (NPs).
Able to meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
Completion of First Assist Training Program or documented first assist experience

M Health Fairview is building a new musculoskeletal team and has various opportunities for Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners
University of Minnesota Physicians (M Physicians) is seeking full time (1.0 FTE,) independent Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners (who hold or can obtain a first assist) who will provide support to M Health Fairview orthopedic and sports medicine patients in M Health Fairview hospitals, ambulatory surgery center and clinics.
2-3 years experience working in orthopedic surgery or musculoskeletal care is preferred, however all applicants will be considered.
This individual will work within a musculoskeletal team and responsibilities could include pre- and post-operative patient care, assisting in surgery, hospital consults and rounding, supporting hospital call, having an independent clinic and/or supporting a musculoskeletal walk-in clinic
This individual will work in the M Health Fairview system in the east Twin Cities metro on a campus with orthopedic surgeons, non-surgical sports medicine physicians, podiatrists, advanced imaging, physical therapy and other supporting services.
M Health Fairview Musculoskeletal care brings multiple specialists together to blend the best in conservative and surgical treatment for bone, muscle and joint problems. These include: General and Subspecialty Orthopedic Surgeons, Podiatrists, Pain Management Providers, Neurosurgeons, Medical Spine (PM&R), Athletic Trainers, and Physical and Occupational Therapists.
We're Looking For a PA or NP Who Is:
