Your day.
As a Polysomnographic Technologist / Sleep Technologist, you need to know how to:
- Perform Polysomnographic testing and acquisition sleep staging according to AASM standards and department protocols.
- Maintain complete and accurate recordings and patient records.
- Provide on-going quality customer service including patient education.
- Participate in one community service event/year.
- Participate in new technician orientation.
- Serve as a resource for PSG1 technicians.
- In addition to the responsibilities described above, the role may include EMU monitoring when needed.
Your experience.
We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
- Associates Degree, required
- Current Registered Polysomnographic technologist (RpsgT) with a minimum of two (2) yearsâ™ experience in sleep diagnostics OR Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of two (2) yearsâ™ experience in sleep diagnostics OR Registered EEG Technician with a minimum of two (2) yearsâ™ experience in sleep diagnostics, required
- Current BLS certification, required
