Up to $15,000 Sign-On bonus for experienced Nurse Manager
The Nurse Manager delivers care to patients who require acute mental health care. The Nurse Manager ensures that care delivered complies with the objectives and policies of the hospital. The Nurse Manager has 24-hour accountability for assigned area of responsibility. The Nurse Manager ensures unit is staffed appropriately and the fiscal budget goals are achieved. The Nurse Manager utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation when performing nursing techniques for the comfort and well-being of the patient. The Nurse Manager assists and supervises RNâ��s, and Psychiatric Technicians to ensure that age/developmentally appropriate care is delivered in accordance3 with unit standards.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (including required licenses/certifications, education and job knowledge/experience):
Current Florida RN license
Current BLS Certification
Florida Protective Services background check
Experience in Mental Healthcare, Knowledge of Mental Health Law
Demonstrated leadership and time management skills
Positive affect and excellent oral and written communication skills
Visual and hearing senses must be adequate to assess/detect changes in human physiological condition
