Central Texas Rehabilitation Hospital is a 50 bed inpatient rehab facility located at 700 W 45 ^th Street, Austin TX 78751 specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Our team of rehabilitation experts develop an individualized treatment plan for each patient and their family to maximize recovery and return to home. We have daily coverage and access to emergency care, specialty physicians, imaging, lab, surgery services to take care of any medical situation which may arise in the course of recovery.

Responsibilities Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs. Document patient care in accordance with Kindred Healthcare Rehabilitation, regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition. • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Texas or be eligible for temporary license with supervision based on current state guidelines.
• Graduate from an approved school of Occupational Therapy.
• Three (3) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of occupational therapy preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy, and physiology.
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English with additional languages preferred
• Current CPR certification.
