The Sr Social Worker has experience that demonstrates possession of advance practice skills and judgment, at least two years should be in specialized mental health social work practice. Advanced practice level is defined as the ability to provide independent and expert clinical psychosocial assessments and case management services to people experiencing serious and severe mental health crises. The Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) is embedded in the Emergency Department at the VAPSHCS.
