The incumbent serves as a Social Science Program Specialist, with responsibility for developing strategies to locate and identify homeless veterans who may be eligible to receive to receive healthcare and other services from the VA. Successfully reaching the homeless population s requires nontraditional techniques and practices, as well as in-depth understanding of the unique dynamics of and within the homeless population.
