The Acute Recovery Center (ARC) inpatient psychiatric unit is a 40 bed unit divided into ARC I and ARC II. The ARC treats veterans with a wide assortment of acute psychiatric illnesses. These may include dementia, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, suicide ideation and/or attempt, alcohol and substance abuse/detoxification among others. The RN is also responsible for overseeing both LPNs and CNAs in the care of our veterans.
