This Peabody Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for:
A range of clinical social work services and case management to Boston Children’s North. Based in Peabody, this satellite of Boston Children’s Hospital offers ambulatory services in over 20 medical specialties plus imaging and laboratory services. Social Worker provides services to the site as a Generalist Social Worker.
Psychosocial screening and assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, facilitation of use of hospital and community services, resource information and referral, program development and psychosocial consultation to multidisciplinary teams.
To qualify, you must have:
Master’s Degree in Social Work, and LICSW; License for independent practice in state of MA.
Flexibility and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment essential. Excellent communication skills necessary.
Experience in medical environment and with child protection issues helpful.
