Arbour-Fuller Hospital is an 102-bed licensed, private psychiatric facility located in South Attleboro, Mass. Inpatient units are designed to treat adults with general psychiatric or intellectual disabilities, as well as adolescents with general psychiatric issues. Patients with co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders can be treated on most units. There are also partial hospitalization programs (PHP) for patients with psychiatric and co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.
The MA Counselor provides direct family therapy services to patients and their families as clinically indicated, serves as a member of interdisciplinary treatment team supporting program's treatment philosophy and assures the deliverance of quality treatment to patients. These services are provided in the patient's home and/or residential site. Provides a comprehensive range of social work services in a home based setting to an Adolescent population and their families. Works with a treatment team to develop, implement, and monitor behavioral goals and objectives. Oversees Therapeutic Mentors and modifies treatment plan as needed.
Arbour Fuller Hospital's Community Support Program is seeking MASTERS LEVEL IN-HOME THERAPY CLINICIANS to work with youth and their families in order to treat the youth's behavioral health needs and assist with family interventions in order to improve the family's ability to facilitate the youth's functioning in the home and community.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Intensive in-home family therapy sessions with youth under the age of 21 and their families with the goal of improving the family's ability to provide effective support for the youth to promote his/her healthy functioning within the family.
Implementation of therapeutic interventions, psycho- education, skill building techniques and coaching for youth and parents in order to enhance problem-solving, limit-setting, safety plan utilization, communication, and ability to build skills to strengthen the family, meet therapeutic goals, and improve ineffective patterns of interaction.
Completion of comprehensive and CANS assessments and adequate documentation of all meetings and collateral contacts.
Development of individualized treatment plans and bi-monthly treatment plan updates which records the youth's progress towards meeting treatment goals.
Availability for crisis intervention, crisis calls, and skills coaching as needed from 8 am to 8 pm.
Care coordination with collateral contacts regarding treatment plan goals and progress.
Identify and utilize community resources; provide aftercare referrals to develop and maintain natural supports for the youth and parent or caregiver(s) in order to sustain treatment progress.
Attendance at weekly team meetings and supervision.
