As a VA Physician your opportunities are endless! The VA Maryland Health Care System seeks Board Certified Internist/Family Medicine in an outpatient setting. Positons are available in the various surrounding Community Based Outpatient Clinics within the Baltimore, Maryland area. They are:

Fort Howard VA Outpatient Clinic
Fort Meade VA Outpatient Clinic

This opportunity allows you to provide medical services to Veterans in a primary care setting. Disease processes include diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, mental health disorders, etc., with a major focus on preventive medicine. The VA Medical Center utilizes the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) approach in the delivery of care, which emphasizes a team-based approach to healthcare. Typical schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 A.M. 4:30 P.M, no-call and weekend duty are very rare.
Ideal Candidate: Board Certified Internal/Family Medicine Physician with at least five years of solid medical expertise.
Full and unrestricted MD/DO license (from any state)
BC/BE Internal Medicine/Family Medicine
Must be highly motivated, team-oriented, committed to Veterans care, residents, student education; and have a focus on process improvement.
