Directly responsible for the efficiency, quality, and compliance of services provided in assigned service area. This includes organizing and implementing clinical services, supervising staff, and communicating with customers and community leaders.
Responsibility of staff training/development for supervised staff orientation to work duties, policies, payment, ECR/Medical Record changes/updates, and standards of care practices; provides monthly staff meetings.
Assists with providing annual education presentation to clinical staff.
Participates in Clinical Coordinator and Leadership Advisory Team activities and meetings.
Oversees Clinical Supervision Documentation for assigned area.
Assists with Human Resource functions (i.e., recruitment, hiring, firing, disciplinary actions, evaluations, raises, follow-up processing, etc.).
Oversees professional and paraprofessional services to LHSE clients. (As needed assists with receiving clients; providing comprehensive assessment and diagnosis, treatment planning, and collateral; client discharge arrangements and coordinating aftercare services.)
Assures medical billing and records are kept in a quality, up-to-date manner.
Secondary Functions: Other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
Experience: Prefer one (3) years post-master’s experience in psychiatric or mental health setting.
Education/Skills: Graduate of an accredited college or university with at least a master’s degree in a behavioral science discipline (prefer psychology, counseling, or social work background).
Licensure: Possess independent Behavioral Health licensure in Arkansas as a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychological Examiner – Independent (LPE-I), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or an Advanced Practice Nurse or Clinical Nurse Specialist (APN or CNS) with a specialty in psychiatry or mental health and a minimum of two years clinical experience post master’s degree.
